Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
Your privacy, plainly
SquadXOX (the “app”, developed by dobu games) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app processes. The app requires no sign-up and collects no personal identifiers.
Data we collect
- Anonymous account ID — a device-specific anonymous ID (Supabase anonymous session). No email, password, phone, or real name is requested.
- Nickname (optional) — a nickname you choose; shown on the leaderboard.
- Profile photo (optional) — a photo you choose is stored on your device; a small copy is synced to the server for the leaderboard and duels.
- Gameplay data — Football IQ, grids played, streak, perfect grids, league IQs, rarest pick, duel history, and card collection.
Data we do NOT collect
- Location and contacts are not collected.
- We use no analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, Facebook, etc.), and we never sell your data.
Advertising
- The app shows opt-in rewarded video ads from Google AdMob. Ads are never forced — you only see one if you choose to watch it to earn an in-game joker.
- To serve and measure ads, AdMob may use a device advertising identifier and limited ad-interaction data. On iOS you are asked for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, ads still work but are not personalized.
- Google's handling of advertising data is described in Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and the AdMob terms.
Website (squadxox.com) — ads & cookies
- The web version at squadxox.com may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads, or at aboutads.info.
- Visitors from the EU/UK/Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalized ads are served; you can change your choice at any time.
- The website stores your settings and progress in your browser (localStorage). No tracking cookies are set by us; only ad partners may set cookies as described above.
How data is used and shared
- Data is used solely to run the game: score sync, leaderboard, live duels with friends, and challenges.
- It is stored on our infrastructure provider Supabase. It is never sold or shared with other third parties.
- Shown publicly on the leaderboard: nickname, Football IQ, grids played, and profile photo — no identity or email.
Data stored on your device
Your settings and progress are kept on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes this local data.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and requires no personal information to play.
